    That is the genuinely strong point. At 0.01 μm, the membrane physically blocks bacteria, colloids, and particles—it is not chemical adsorption like carbon; it is a physical barrier. For comparison, a shower filter operates in the 1–5 μm range—meaning the openings are 100 to 500 times larger. Here, there is a real, verifiable mechanism at work.

    Staggered and documented service life

    The five stages have different replacement intervals: the PP filter every 3–6 months; granular and compressed carbon every 6–9 months; the post-carbon filter every 8–12 months; and the ultrafiltration membrane lasts 1 to 2 years. The pre-filters exist specifically to protect the membrane, which is the expensive component. From a business perspective, this is a recurring revenue machine: four replacement filters with distinct cycles, compared to just one for a shower.
