    Unscrew the aerator from your tap and wrap a little thread seal tape around the thread to prevent leaks.

How do I install it?
  1. Unscrew the aerator from your tap. Wrap a little thread seal tape around the tap thread to prevent leaks.
  2. Unscrew the filter’s mounting nut and slide it onto the tap.
  3. Choose the adaptor that matches your tap, place a small rubber washer inside it and screw it onto the tap. Use the plastic tool to give it a final tighten.
  4. Connect the filter to the adaptor and tighten the mounting nut. Done — no plumber needed.
Does it need batteries or power?

No. The display is powered by a small hydro-generator driven by the water flow, so there are no batteries or cables. It lights up in filtered-water mode only — in unfiltered mode the display stays off. That’s normal, not a fault.

Can I switch between filtered and unfiltered water?

Yes. A lever lets you switch in a second. Use filtered water for drinking, coffee and cooking, and unfiltered water for washing up — it helps the cartridge last longer.

How often do I replace the cartridge?

Every 4–6 months with typical household use. Larger households and harder water shorten that. The display shows how much filter life is left, and swapping the cartridge takes about a minute. Replacement cartridges are available anytime.
