Why filter my water?
Australian mains water is disinfected with chlorine — by law, and for good reason.¹ But chlorine is drying, and it's still in the water when it reaches your skin and hair. On older pipe runs, water can also pick up rust and fine sediment along the way.

AQUESSENCE started with a question: why do we filter the water we drink, but not the water we stand under every morning? Australian mains water is treated to be safe — but safe and clean aren't the same thing. We're working to make filtered showering as ordinary as filtered drinking water.
